Just about settled in Nice. My place's in a good location, the shopping street is just behind my block, and one of the two main shopping centers is a 5 min walk away. The beach is about 10 mins walk away.. so it' nice. Oh yeah, interesting thing.. is that the beach, well, has no sand. Pause. Yes, seriously, NO SAND. Pauses once again. Yes I know you dun believe me.. so I'll upload photos the next time okay.
My roomie is really nice, she's a german by the way, who speaks fluently in english and french.. she brought my out to walk the neighbourhood the first night I was here, and she brought me out to meet her other friends ytd night. We went to an Irish pub to watch the rugby world cup. Great place, great atmosphere. Mostly americans, aussies, english.. so could totally understand them, which is awesome.
Got to know a bunch of Americans from Chicago.. really nice people. Bought us some drinks and stuff. It was fun. New experience for me, to go out and just have fun without any qualms. Shall post up pictures later.. not yet loaded the pictures into my computer.
