School has started, and I accidentally signed up for a class called 'Business Game'. How exactly did I ACCIDENTALLY sign up? Cuz there was a 'welcome orientation' in the morning of 1 oct for those who weren't here for the pre-term intensive french course on 10 sept. So I was there happily listening to all those talk about practical issues, which ended after a boring 1 hr.
We were then ushered to the auditorium for a 'welcome speech' and the 'opening of the program'. (which took all but 10 minutes). We were then asked to proceed to the 'business game' and those who were in the english track were asked to move to another room.
So I happily followed them, entered the classroom, checked out the name list, wondered why in the world was my name not there. Then informed the teacher, and cuz apparently this happens really often, he just assigned me to one of the teams.
After we were in our teams, we were just talking, and we took out our course lists to compare and see whether we had any same classes, and VOILA! I realized that this IS a course. FREAK! And so I had to go talk to the teacher again, and blah blah blah, all the administrative stuff, and the teacher was really nice. He registered me into the class (totally not allowed to do any changes to our course choices), and so yes, I have now an extra 6 ects on my transfer. Amazing.
Really glad I took this course though. Met a group of great people. And helped me get integrated with the exchange people, cuz most of them already knew each other from the pre-term french course. If not, I'll be stuck at home without knowing anybody but my flatmates. HENG arh.
