2nd day:
Inside
the backview was much prettier and it had a lovely garden as well
Paris is so refreshingly beautiful. Was busy snapping away like I haven't done in Nice
I have no idea what's the name, but this cathedral looks damn good from the outside
Huge crowds at the stairs leading up to the cathedral. Lotsa entertainers around too.
In search of Moulin Rouge, we had to walk along what is known as SEX street. They had all the shops selling sex toys, bars that offered lap dances etc., it was amazingly, well, public
Moulin Rouge. Didn't pay 90 euros to watch the Can Can dance. No time. And that's freaking expensive
Eiffel tower. Lights up so beautifully at night. With white sparkles periodically. Nice
Catching the Rugby finals at the big screen in front of the Eiffel tower. Lotsa English fans.
But they lost. The S.A.s next to us were going crazy!
3rd day: DISNEYLAND
Sleeping Beauty's Castle
They were all prepared for Halloween. The people were dressed in funny hats and costumes. They had ppl queuing for some halloween make-up. It was fantastic.
Rollercoaster was actually stuck on the way up, for about 10 mins or longer? See the person in green? That's the assistant, think sent up there to explain what the hell's happening. Freeaky. But we still took the ride anyway.
Can't believe I got excited meeting the Disney characters. There were so many! From chicken little, to lilo and stitch. And here's one with Pinocchio, who was the only one unpopular enough for me to sneak a photo with him. *grinz*
Disneyland at night was simply amazing. The street lights. The atmosphere. The crowd still there. And look at the posters! They're lighted too!
4th day:
At the Opera House. Freakishly nice. The grand stairs was really grand. Took lotsa photos. Here's one from the balcony, blurred by the stupid night mode of my camera
Gold walkway with hanging chandeliers. Awesome.
@ Jardin de Luxembourg. Really nice. I'm a sucker for gardens. Especially Autumn time
How could you not love it? Nice pond. Autum leaves. Striking flowers.
Can someone please tell me whether Nice has any of such gardens!? I swear I'll be there after every class, just to nua and soak in the relaxing atmosphere and mother nature. Birds chirping. Pigeons diving. Rustling autumn leaves. And staring at beautiful flowers. That'd make my day.
